Aerosystems International to play key role in U.S. Army Contract for Health and Usage Management System.
 

Aerosystems International (AeI) has been contracted by the Goodrich Corporation to play a key role in support of the US Army UH-60L IMD-HUMS Demonstration Program. The purpose of the program is to demonstrate the use of Goodrich's Integrated Mechanical Diagnostic - Health and Usage Management System (IMD-HUMS) on the US Army UH60 (Blackhawk) fleet. Under the terms of this contract, systems will be provide for eight UH-60L helicopters for a two-year field test of IMD-HUMS.

The Goodrich Fuel and Utility Systems division's IMD-HUMS gathers information on the condition of aircraft systems throughout each flight. Upon completion of the flight, the processed data is transferred to a Goodrich integrated ground station containing AeI's Sapphire software for further analysis and maintenance action identification.

Sapphire is AeI's world-leading Asset and Maintenance Management product, leveraging the advantages that today's technology can offer to empower the maintainer and the surrounding enterprise.

Sapphire is a web-based solution, with an architecture that allows for enterprise-wide scaleability, while providing the maintainers with a user friendly, mobile, data capture interface. Sapphire is part of AeI's Transform family of products, harnessing the power of business information through smart data capture and information exploitation.
