| Aerosystems wins major outsourcing contract. |

Aerosystems International Ltd (AeI) has won an important contract worth over £50m to provide engineering subcontract services on all BAE SYSTEMS sites in the UK. Aerosystems has formed a new subsidiary e-commerce company called SHSL, which specialise in the delivery of managed services. Scott Roy, Managing Director of Aerosystems International, said, "We're delighted to have been selected by BAE SYSTEMS to provide them with this new service. SHSL, our new subsidiary will specialise in using the Internet to deliver high quality services at speed and at a very competitive price." Jim Robinson, Group Procurement Director for BAE SYSTEMS said " This contract will establish new standards of performance, and is a great example of how by combining the total support requirements of BAE SYSTEMS we can deliver a beneficial outcome to all concerned. We awarded this contract to Aerosystems after what was the largest e-auction held to date within BAE SYSTEMS. This innovative process generated in excess of 1000 bids submitted over 4 hours of electronic bidding." Aerosystems International (AeI) is a world-class company specialising in the design, development and delivery of software intensive systems for the aerospace, transport and process industries. It also develops cutting edge systems and smart technology for various industrial applications.
