| Conventional Air Launched Cruise Missile System Studies. |

AeI is teamed with Aerostructures Hamble Ltd, Frazer-Nash Consultancy Ltd, and Flight Refuelling Ltd to undertake these studies. Phase I studies started in November 1997 and Phase II studies will be complete by July 1999. Within the team each member has specific responsibilities:-
FRL is design authority for the missile launcher sub-system definition, design, and performance aspects. The objectives of the studies are to provide:-
The scope of the studies includes a wide range of military and civil launch platforms, avionics, missile handling and launcher concepts and related technologies. A number of weapon options are also being considered for carriage and launch by the CALCM system.
